Mission Statement

Individual Responsibility

​With a heritage of over 120 years, the Winslow York Rite exists to provide further light in Masonry to members of Masonic Lodges in northern Arizona through knowledge of its rituals, Masonic education, and being active in meetings conducted with safety and health in mind.

Spiritual Enlightenment Statement
​

Candidates rarely can see the spiritual depth of the Degrees and Orders of Freemasonry. To the candidate they offer legends and stories from our Biblical and Masonic heritage with a high degree of fellowship included. Seasoned ritualists begin to realize the spiritual depth of Freemasonry through its degrees and orders, depending upon their depth of knowledge. The more ritualists participate, especially in major parts, the deeper their personal Spiritual Enlightenment increases.

Donation Designations for the Winslow York Rite

​Its members donate to philanthropies that include the

• Royal Arch Medical Research Foundation (RARA),
• The Cryptic Mason Medical Research Foundation (CMMRF),
• The Knight Templar Eye Foundation,
• The Knight Templar Holy Land Pilgrimage Fund.
• The Winslow York Rite may also donate to local philanthropies and charities that its membership desires to donate to.

Our Goal should be to be better men every time we walk out of lodge than when we walked in.

We need to aid others to do the same by our examples. We need to ask ourselves if we are:
• improving ourselves and remaining healthy,
• having a positive influence on our families,
• promoting our York Rite,
• providing further light to our Lodges,
• making a difference in our Churches, 
• and making a difference in our communities? ​

Vision Statement
​

​All active members, collectively, should be able to perform all parts in all the progressive degrees and orders of the York Rite.  This means that each active member should be able to perform at least one, if not more, major parts in one of Chapter Degrees, in one of the Council Degrees and one in the Commandery Orders. These may be learned over time as we approach the respective Degrees and Orders
Per the direction of the General Grand High Priest, Teko A. Foly in the October 2023 Message from the East, The objective should be to increase our membership to at least 30% of the membership of in the total membership of lodges in our area that includes Flagstaff, Winslow, Holbrook and Show Low.
